Teletubbies return to Brazil

MIPCOM NEWS – Ragdoll's flagship preschool show Teletubbies and its spin-off Teletubbies Everywhere hit Brazilian air later this month, after a deal here in Cannes.

Brazil's educational channel TV Cultura has taken a four-year licence for over 100 episodes of the global hit, including 26 eps of the spin-off ten-minuter. The show will fill the network's 1 2 3 4 Go!! kids block from October 28.

Along with an earlier deal for l&m rights with Brazil's Connect TV, the deal marks the relaunch of the Teletubbies brand in the huge territory.
