Coming Up Next is a 12-part thought leadership series from C21Media and The University of York’s Screen Industries Growth Network (SIGN), in which industry leaders share their thoughts on the future of media and entertainment in a fast-changing world.

As the pace of change and demand for new content accelerates, ‘television’ is facing new challenges. What will audiences want going forward in terms of the form or the content they consume, how they consume it, when, where and why?

The series examines how major content brands are navigating an uncertain future, how they are adapting to the new normal, and the responsibility of media and entertainment to be part of the solution in a world that demands change.

The Screen Industries Growth Network is a initiative led by The University of York to support the TV, film and games industries in Yorkshire and the Humber. With funding from Research England and The University of York, SIGN is developing a programme of training, business development, research and evaluation, with diversity and inclusion at its heart.
