Mid East broadcaster MBC preps Arabic version of Jimmy Fallon show That’s My Jam

Saudi Arabia-based Middle Eastern broadcaster MBC has commissioned a local adaptation of Jimmy Fallon’s hit format That’s My Jam.

The Arabic version, titled El Leila Doub and presented by Egyptian actor Hassan El Raddad, will be broadcast on MBC1 and MBC Iraq on Wednesday nights.

El Leila Doub features Arab celebrities who take on a variety of music- and dance-inspired challenges.

The series was inspired by US variety show That’s My Jam, hosted by Fallon, which launched on NBC in 2021. It has since been adapted in territories including the UK, France, Spain, Mongolia, the Netherlands and Germany.

The format is distributed internationally by NBCUniversal Formats, which is part of Universal International Studios, a division of Universal Studio Group.
