ZDF Studios to launch FAST channel in Latin America

ZDF Studios and Castalia Communications execs in Cannes

MIPCOM: ZDF Studios, the commercial arm of the German pubcaster, is partnering with Atlanta-based producer and distributor Castalia Communications to develop a FAST service for Latin America.

The venture, unveiled in Cannes this morning, will make programming from the ZDF Studios catalogue available to Spanish-speaking users in Latin America and the US Hispanic market. The launch of the first offering is scheduled for Q2 2024 and will focus on a selection of drama programming that will be available to viewers in Spanish.
