US Hispanic broadcaster HITN picks up Guru Studio’s True & the Rainbow Kingdom

US Hispanic educational broadcaster HITN has acquired animated preschool series True & the Rainbow Kingdom from Guru Studio in Canada.

The series will also launch on HITN’s preschool SVoD platform Edye in the US and Latin America, including Brazil.

The deal follows the recent acquisition of True & the Rainbow Kingdom by Knowledge Network in Canada, and renewals by the CBC and SRC in Canada and Star Channel in Greece.

In other Guru Studio news, aviation entertainment provider Anuvu has acquired animated series Big Blue (52×11’) and 123 Number Squad (104×11’) for Air Canada. US-based streamer Kanopy has also picked up both series.
