Paris-based kids and family studio ZAG has appointed Rémi Guerin to the newly-created role of head of studio.

In the new role, Guerin will oversee ZAG’s production pipeline, creative operations and talent management, reporting to exec VP of series Ian Lambur, who joined the company towards to the end of 2025.

Guerin has over 20 years of experience spanning animation, comic books and television production. Prior to joining ZAG, he held various executive leadership positions including head of content and studio manager at Montpelier-based Dwarf Animation Studios.

Guerin’s credits include work on projects such as Netflix’s My Dad the Bounty Hunter and upcoming series Alien Dunk for French broadcaster TF1.

Current animated projects in development and production at ZAG include the Ghostforce series and animated feature films Melody, starring Katy Perry, and Carmen, inspired by former Formula 1 driver Carmen Jordá.

According to the company, several additional projects are set to be unveiled in the near future under the ZAG Heroez banner, alongside a new preschool series.

ZAG is also the original studio behind hit franchise Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, now owned by Miraculous Corp, the joint venture formed in 2024 between Mediawan and ZAG.
