Channel 4 lines up more PopMaster TV

NEWS BRIEF: UK public broadcaster Channel 4 has commissioned two further seasons (20×60’) and two celebrity specials of music quiz PopMaster TV.

Produced by ITV Studios’ Bright Entertainment for Channel 4’s network More4, PopMaster TV challenges contestants on their music knowledge. It is based on the PopMaster quiz which has been running for more than 25 years on BBC Radio 2. The TV version, hosted by Ken Bruce, has aired for four seasons so far. ITV Studios handles international distribution.
