Youku, France TV to tell second season of Lupin’s Tales with Xilam Animation

Preschool animated comedy Lupin’s Tales

Alibaba Group-owned Chinese streaming platform Youku and France Télévisions have commissioned a second season of preschool animated comedy Lupin’s Tales from French studio Xilam Animation.

Currently in production, season two (78×7’) will debut on Youku and France Télévisions in early 2024.

Alongside this, Xilam is producing a series of 26×2.5’ shorts called Lupin on a Mission, set to premiere on Youku and France Télévisions this Christmas.

Lupin’s Tales follows the adventures of a wolf cub who dreams of being the storybook heroes he admires. Xilam and Youku coproduced season one, which debuted in 2021, and are also coproducing season two.
