Wheelhouse development exec Gardner Reed promoted to senior VP

Brent Montgomery’s US non-scripted group Wheelhouse Entertainment has elevated Gardner Reed to senior VP of development.

In his expanded role, the seasoned development exec will focus on character-driven content for Wheelhouse-owned Spoke Studios, digital and audio arm Wheelhouse DNA and the company’s UK-based business.

Reed has worked closely with Wheelhouse Entertainment CEO Montgomery throughout his career. He was a founding member of Spoke Studios in 2018 and before that worked with Montgomery at Leftfield Pictures and Sirens Media.

With his promotion, he will also work with Wheelhouse partners Kimmelot, Butternut and Majordomo Media.

Reed’s credits since joining Wheelhouse include Netflix series King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch and Designing Miami, as well as forthcoming HGTV home design show Divided by Design.
