Rabbit Films’ Finnish format City vs Country hops to Hungary’s TV2

City vs Country is set to enter a seventh season in Finland

Hungarian network TV2 has commissioned a local version of an entertainment quizshow format from Helsinki-based producer and distributor Rabbit Films.

In City vs Country, two hosts take the teams from either the city or the country through three rounds of questions to see which side triumphs.

The original version of City vs Country was produced by Rabbit Films for MTV3 in Finland, where a seventh season is due this year. Lithuania’s TV3 has also adapted the format, which is currently under option in Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia and Romania.

Jonathan Tuovinen, head of international at Rabbit Films, said: “Finland’s most popular game show, City vs Country will reach the Hungarians screens later this year. And with several active options, there’s lots more to come from this format in the future.”
