Netherlands’ WSMG greenlights science series Ever Wonder from Wildbear

Off the Fence and Wildbear’s travel series Pulse

World Storytelling Media Group (WSMG), launched by Dutch unscripted channels operator and content producer Insight TV last year, has greenlit a documentary series from Australian factual specialist Wildbear Entertainment.

Produced in coproduction with Insight TV, Ever Wonder is billed as “a visually striking documentary series that explores the science and systems behind the world we take for granted.”

The 10×60’ returning modular series addresses seven questions most frequently posed about familiar phenomenon – from soaring skyscrapers to roaring storms – revealing the hidden machines, structures and designs that make these wonders possible.

Off the Fence is handling global distribution of the series, marking its second copro pact with Wildbear Entertainment following recently announced travel series Pulse. The show was the first project to emerge from WSMG’s strategy to invest and create longer-running travel and science IP.

As well as science and travel, WSMG is now seeking premium factual content in genres including history, wildlife and factual entertainment.
