National Geographic, RTVE among buyers for factual at Germany’s Autentic

History, science and wildlife brand National Geographic has acquired a package of factual content from German distributor Autentic.

It has picked up Secrets of Ancient Structures (6×52’, Go Button Media), American Amazon (2×52’) and Shells – Within a Sheltered Spiral (1×52’, 1×45), with the latter two both produced by Terra Mater Studios.

Meanwhile, Spain’s RTVE has licensed wildlife shows Kui Buri – Thailand’s Hidden Eden (1×52’), Europe’s Amazon (2×52’) and Golden Eagle – Call of the Wild (2×52’, 1×90’).

Czech Television has taken Oman – Jewel of Arabia (2×52’, 2×45’), Penguin Baywatch (2×52’), Same Same – But Different (1×52’) and Mara: Rebirth (2×52’); while Czech broadcaster Prima Group has acquired Between Hitler & Stalin: Europe’s Darkest Years (1×90’).
