ITV, RTÉ line up third season of The Dry

NEWS BRIEF: UK commercial broadcaster ITV and RTÉ in Ireland have commissioned a third season of comedy The Dry, ahead of the S2 premiere on ITV1 on Sunday January 12.

The third season is produced by Element Pictures for ITVX and RTÉ in association with Fís Eireann/Screen Ireland and ITV Studios. Playwright and screenwriter Nancy Harris (Dates) and director Paddy Breathnach (Viva, Rosie) return for the new run, which will stream exclusively on ITVX in 2026. ITV Studios is handling global distribution.
