RTL alum Ingrid Heisserer named group CFO at Germany’s ProSiebenSat.1, succeeding Bob Rajan

Former RTL Deutschland executive Ingrid Heisserer has been named group chief financial officer at Germany’s ProSiebenSat.1 Media, with interim CFO Bob Rajan set to step aside.

Joining on February 1, 2027, Heisserer brings more than 20 years of senior finance leadership experience across international consumer goods and media.

Most recently, she served as CFO and chief human resources officer at RTL Deutschland. She oversaw the broadcaster’s transition toward streaming, portfolio simplification and large-scale cost reduction programmes, as well as M&A processes.

Prior to that, Heisserer spent more than 20 years at cosmetics company L’Oréal, serving in senior finance leadership roles across Germany, France, Russia and Brazil.

ProSiebenSat.1 said interim group CFO Rajan “played a significant role” in improving the company’s financial position, adding that since October last year, he has modernised and simplified key financial processes, sharpened the focus on cash management and supported the execution of the strategy set by group CEO Marco Giordani, including the successful divestment of several portfolio assets.
