Sphere Abacus grows acquisitions team by hiring Deep Fusion alum Niki Page

Former Deep Fusion Films executive Niki Page has been appointed to the newly created role of acquisitions manager at Bell Media-owned UK distributor Sphere Abacus.

She will oversee content acquisitions across both scripted and unscripted programming, working alongside the company’s global content director, Will Stapley.

Page most recently served as commercial senior VP for UK-based AI specialist prodco Deep Fusion Films. Prior to that, she held senior roles at Sky, Fremantle, Channel 4 and Seven.One.

She brings experience of working across content distribution, rights acquisition, commercial strategy and deal-making, as well as brokering first-look and development deals.

Page has worked on unscripted titles such as Don’t Tell the Bride, Chateau DIY and The Wine Show, and scripted shows like Shameless and The Inbetweeners.
