iConcerts in tune with Other Voices

European multi-platform live music channel iConcerts has acquired HD music series Other Voices in a deal covering more than 80 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

The broadcast and VoD deal forged with Ireland’s Monster Entertainment includes seasons eight and nine plus a one-hour special about Amy Winehouse, titled When Amy Came to Dingle. The episodes will debut on iConcerts from May.

The deal is one of several that Monster has recently sealed for Other Voices. Globosat in Brazil has also licensed season 10 and the Winehouse special, as well as renewing seasons six through nine. TV Catalunya in Spain and SBS in Holland have both acquired the Winehouse special.

Produced by South Wind Blows, Other Voices now numbers 70 hours and season 10 has just wrapped. The show features live performances and interviews, all set in a small church in Ireland.

Owned by Swiss-based Transmedia Communications, iConcerts claims to reach more than 200 million users across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australia.
