Mario Kalpou returns to Australia to track, dive, and hunt down the continent's wildest food sources — relying on instinct, endurance and hardwon environmental knowledge to survive. Working alongside Indigenous custodians and local experts along the way, he reconnects with the land's ecosystems and its sustainable harvesting traditions. From venomous snakes and predator-infested waters to remote bushland and unforgiving outback terrain, he dodges sharks and crocodiles, hunts wild buffalo, abseils down cliffs to fish off wave-lashed rocks, and sets himself adrift for a week on a raft on the Great Barrier Reef.
