Forthcoming BBC series Clickbait Clinic gets YouTube spin-off

UK pubcaster the BBC’s upcoming docuseries Clickbait Clinic is getting a spin-off show for YouTube and iPlayer.

Clickbait Clinic, which is due to air on BBC One and stream on iPlayer later this year, uncovers the truth behind some of the wildest health trends taking over social media feeds.

It is hosted by Stacey Dooley, who is also hosting the spin-off show, Clickbait Clinic Q&A (working title), with Dr Alex George.

The six-parter will answer the audience’s questions about the health trends featured in the main series, while exploring the science behind the claims.

Clickbait Clinic Q&A is produced by Jane Root’s Nutopia, which is also producing the main Clickbait Clinic series.

Root exec produces with chief creative officer Simon Willgoss and Tom Williams. Anna McVey is series producer and Liam Bagnall is series director. Nutopia’s head of production, Caroline McCool, is executive in charge of production.
