NEWS BRIEF: Sony-owned anime streamer Crunchyroll has confirmed it will carry the upcoming anime adaptation of Kagurabachi, based on the Weekly Shonen Jump manga title by Takeru Hokazono, when it premieres next April.

The series will stream on Crunchyroll worldwide excluding Japan, mainland China, North Korea and South Korea. Tetsuya Takeuchi directs, character design is by Keigo Sasaki and the show is produced by Tokyo studio Cypic. The production partners are Japan’s Shochiku Co and CyberAgent, while distribution is handled by Taiwan’s Muse and China’s SMG Holdings.
