Channel 4 partners with Nivea on YouTube branded entertainment format

Fresh from the Noughties with Miquita Oliver

UK public broadcaster Channel 4 has partnered with German personal care brand Nivea and its Black & White deodorant on a branded entertainment format for YouTube.

Fresh from the Noughties with Miquita Oliver follows three Gen Zs as they step back into the world of the 2000s, embarking on a personalised ‘noughties reset’ designed to help tackle modern struggles around confidence, friendship, dating and self-expression.

It is hosted by Miquita Oliver, one of the presenters of Channel 4’s former teen-focused programming block T4 in the 2000s, with support from celebrity stylist and Millennial Ayishat Akanbi.

Featuring lessons in everything from building real-world connections to worrying less about perfection, the format explores whether Millennials can help Gen Zs transform not just their look, but their mindset too.

Fresh From the Noughties with Miquita Oliver will be released on Channel 4’s YouTube channel today, in the form of a longform episode produced by Interstellar, alongside accompanying social shorts and a promo TVC on Channel 4 streaming.
