Bluey storms Middle East with Spacetoon

Animated children’s series Bluey

NEWS BRIEF: Pan-Arab free-to-air broadcaster Spacetoon Kids TV has acquired Australian animated kids’ series Bluey from Ludo Studio for the Middle East market, with season one launching in 2024.

The series, created by Queensland-based Ludo Studio and jointly commissioned by the ABC and BBC Studios Kids & Family, is one of the most widely distributed Australian television series with BBC Studios owning international distribution and licensing rights outside Australia. Under the Middle East market deal, BBC Studios has appointed Spacetoon International Agent to oversee the expansion of the Bluey licensing programme in the Middle East.
