NEWS BRIEF: The BBC has commissioned one-off sitcom Rambling (1×30’), starring Mark Bonnar (Guilt, Line of Duty, Catastrophe) and Ashley Jensen (Shetland, After Life, Catastrophe).

Produced by Scotland’s The Comedy Unit for BBC One, BBC Scotland and iPlayer, the special follows a pair of unlikely travelling companions and is set against the landscape of rural Scotland. Navi Lamba, the commissioning editor at BBC Comedy, said: “Some of the best comedies come from forcing unlikely people together, and Rambling does exactly that.”
