SBS, C4 and BBC Select pick up Alice Roberts series The Land That Made Us

Alice Roberts presents The Land That Made Us

SBS in Australia, UK public service broadcaster Channel 4 and BBC Select in the US have all pre-bought new factual series The Land That Made Us, fronted by British academic and presenter professor Alice Roberts.

The 6×60’ series is produced by Tectonic Productions, the indie prodco founded by Roberts, Dom Bowles and Theo Williams.

Combining geology, archaeology, history and local colour, The Land That Made Us follows Roberts as she travels around the UK exploring the unexpected ways in which the earth beneath people’s feet influences who they are.

The project was originated, financed and pre-sold by London-based content creation, funding and distribution outfit BossaNova Media (Secret of the Lost Grail).
