Banijay Kids & Family, WildBrain expand YouTube content sharing agreement

WildBrain’s In the Night Garden is joining Banijay’s ZeeKay

Banijay Kids & Family and WildBrain have expanded a partnership that sees them share content across their respective YouTube channels.

Under the deal, WildBrain, will host a range of Banijay Kids & Family titles on its YouTube channel, with access to sell direct advertising inventory through its in-house media solutions team.

At the same time, Banijay Kids & Family Digital will host selected WildBrain properties across its own ZeeKay network on the Google-owned platform.

Banijay Kids & Family titles in a variety of languages heading to WildBrain include seasons one to six of Totally Spies!, S1-2 of LoliRock and the first season of Mister Maker Arty Party.

Meanwhile, WildBrain content joining Banijay Kids & Family’s ZeeKay in various languages includes all four seasons of Boy & Dragon; S1-5 of In the Night Garden, S1-4 of Slugterra and S1 of Slugterra: Ascension.

Dan Lewsey, senior VP of digital and social media at Banijay Kids & Family, said the agreement allows the two to “cross-pollinate” and “unlock mutually beneficial growth across our respective networks.”
