Ex-Disney, Netflix execs join Amazon as Jenn Levy builds out unscripted team

Former Disney executive Tiffany Faigus and Netflix alum Ariane Wu have joined Amazon’s unscripted department as Jenn Levy makes her first key appointments since arriving at the beginning of the year.

Faigus, who left her role as senior VP of unscripted and alternative entertainment at ABC Entertainment and Walt Disney Television Alternative in 2024 and later joined EverWonder Studio, has been named senior creative executive of unscripted series.

While at Disney, she managed ABC titles such as Shark Tank, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, Judge Steve Harvey and Holey Moley, in addition to Hulu series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

Wu joins Amazon after eight years at Netflix, where she worked on titles including The Tinder Swindler. She joined in 2018 as manager of original documentaries before becoming director of original documentary film in 2020. Faigus and Wu will both report to Levy.

The appointments come after Levy, a former Netflix, Bravo and 32 Flavors executive, joined Amazon MGM Studios as head of unscripted and documentary television.

Levy’s move to Amazon MGM Studios reunited her with Peter Friedlander, Netflix’s former scripted series head for the US and Canada, who joined Amazon as head of global television in September.
