All3Media and Studio Lambert are expanding their US footprint with the launch of development label Inner Drive Entertainment, led by Jon Barinholtz and Rob Belushi.

The new company, which will sit within Studio Lambert USA, will be focused on challenge, social experiment, reality competition series and other unscripted genres.

Barinholtz and Belushi initially made their names in the Chicago comedy scene before moving into acting and later into developing and producing unscripted formats, including gameshow The Perfect Line for CBS and GSN.

The pair will collaborate with Studio Lambert USA president Jack Burges, as well as Studio Lambert’s London-based chief creative officer Tim Harcourt and CEO Stephen Lambert.

For All3Media, which produces unscripted shows including The Traitors, Squid Game: The Challenge and The Circle, the launch of Inner Drive Entertainment comes around seven months after it revealed a new strategy to grow its US content pipeline with the launch of several development-focused labels.

The first of those was Jill Goslicky and Vivian Choi’s MindMeld Entertainment, which officially launched last summer. All3Media, which is owned by Jeff Zucker-led investment vehicle RedBird IMI, has said that several other development companies will launch in the months and years ahead.

Outside of Studio Lambert USA, All3Media also owns several US-based production companies including Bright Spot Content (Puppy Bowl, Philly Homicide, Seeking Sister Wife) and Lion TV (Cash Cab, Mean Girl Murders).

“Jon and Rob have a rare creative energy, combining wit and originality in a way that seamlessly fits with Studio Lambert,” said Burgess, while All3Media CEO Jane Turton said the pair brings an “exceptionally smart and exciting approach to format development.”
