Former TelevisaUnivision executive Adam Waltuch has joined Paramount as senior VP of partnerships and distribution for Latin America and Canada for Paramount+ and Pluto TV.

His appointment was confirmed to C21’s Spanish-language publication Cveintiuno by Paramount, who said Waltuch will lead the international alliances strategy and manages relationships with linear and streaming platforms.

Waltuch recently completed a four-year stint at TelevisaUnivision, where he served as exec VP of global distribution and alliances.

In that role, he spearheaded global distribution for both linear and streaming, oversaw partner marketing and led business development for ViX and the company’s FAST channels, managing international and cross-functional teams across multiple regions.

Based in Los Angeles, Waltuch had joined TelevisaUnivision in late 2021 and announced his departure in December last year.

Previously, he spent almost six years at Netflix, holding senior positions such as director of partner marketing for the US and Canada and head of marketing partnerships for Latin America.

There, he led distribution and brand partnerships during Netflix’s rapid regional expansion, managing relationships with MVPDs, telcos, operators and major consumer brands.

At the beginning of his career, Waltuch was an executive at Google, based in the offices of Buenos Aires, Santiago and Mountain View, where he led teams that supported products such as Google Cloud and AdWords.

At Paramount, he will reunite with Rodrigo Mazón, appointed in October as director of direct-to-consumer for Latin America and Canada, and with Augusto Rovegno, who recently joined as senior VP of content for Latin America. He worked with both of them at TelevisaUnivision and Netflix.
