BBC Studios (BBCS) and Switzerland-based CosmoBlue Media have expanded their strategic collaboration with the launch of the Cosmo EN channel and BBC Player in Turkey.

Cosmo EN offers a curated mix of content from BBCS, including kids’ programming such as Go Jetters and Grace’s Amazing Machines, premium natural history title Planet Earth and crime series Luther.

Cosmo EN is now live on D-Smart, Tivibu, BeIN and Kablo TV, while BBC Player is available on the Cosmo GO app.

In addition to those launches, CosmoBlue Media will partner with BBCS in supporting the regional distribution of key BBCS channels, including BBC First, BBC Earth and CBeebies, to grow their reach across Turkey and the MENA region.

Bartosz Witak, senior VP, general manager Central and eastern Europe, MENA and Turkey at BBCS, said: “This collaboration reinforces BBC Studios’ commitment to the region and reflects our shared ambition to deliver premium entertainment.

“By joining forces, we aim to broaden our reach, create new opportunities to connect with audiences and accelerate growth in line with our regional strategy.”

Berk Uziyel, co-founder and group CEO at CosmoBlue Media, said: “This marks the first step in an expanded strategic partnership. Our shared vision is centred on high-quality content, cultural relevance and meaningful entertainment experiences.”
