Heated Rivalry to return to Sky in the UK and Ireland next spring

Hit Canadian sports romance series Heated Rivalry will return to Sky and its streaming service Now in the UK and Ireland next spring.

Adapted from Rachel Reid’s Game Changers book series for Bell Media’s Crave in Canada, season one of Heated Rivalry premiered in November last year and became a breakout hit.

Season two is scheduled for release on Crave next April. In the UK and Ireland, it airs exclusively on Sky.

Justice Smith (I Saw the TV Glow, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t) and Charlie Gillespie (One Night Only, Splitsville, Suze) are joining the cast for season two. Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie reprise their leading roles.

The series’ creator Jacob Tierney is writer, director and executive producer, while Brendan Brady and Jayme Alter Wilson also exec produce. Lori Fischburg and Liane Cunje are producers, while Reid is consulting producer. Mike Goldbach serves as co-writer on season two.
