TCCF Market to bring 107 exhibitors to Taipei

The TCCF Market will house 107 exhibitors from seven Asian and European countries when it kicks off in Taiwan next month, with this year’s edition adding a new Spotlight Screenings initiative for buyers.

TCCF Market serves as a key platform connecting Taiwan with the global content industry

The Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF) will stage its TCCF Market segment next month with 107 exhibitors from seven Asian and European countries, as organisers add a screening strand aimed at overseas buyers.

The exhibitors come from Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, Japan, Singapore, France and the Philippines. The market focuses on rights transactions for international film and television content and emerging IP. The number of exhibitors in IP categories such as publishing, comics and characters has risen by 13% on last year, which organiser the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) says reflects the continued development of established global IP into screen adaptations and licensing deals.

The 2026 edition runs from November 6 to 9 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.

TAICCA chairperson Sue Wang says the market has “always served as TCCF’s central hub for connecting the global film and television industry with Taiwan’s wealth of original content.” She adds that she hopes TCCF will be more than an industry event andwill act as “a steadfast partner” for Taiwan’s cultural content sector, helping the country secure a strategic position in the global film and television production chain.

The main new initiative this year is the Spotlight Screenings, TCCF’s first collaboration with Taiwanese cinema chain Vieshow Cinemas. The screenings will be held at Vieshow’s venue in Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Nangang for international buyers, overseas media and other industry guests, who will see two titles before the business meetings begin. TAICCA says the aim is to improve overseas sales prospects and rights transactions for Taiwanese film and television content. Wang says the screenings give buyers “an early opportunity to experience the quality of the finished works firsthand ahead of the business meetings.”

The first screening, on November 7, is feature film April. It follows a migrant family caregiver working in a Hakka community in Pingtung, who returns home to face estrangement within her own family and tries to repair those relationships. The film was selected for the 2025 Tokyo International Film Festival and received several nominations at the 2026 Taipei Film Awards, including best actress.

Taiwan/Singapore copro series See You At 11pm screens on November 8. The fantasy romance spans the two countries and crosses the boundary between the living and the dead. The cast includes Taiwanese actors Hsiu-fu Liu, Chloe Xiang, Nien-hsuan Wu, Peter Ho, Kimi Hsia and Morni Chang, alongside Singapore’s Mark Kok Huang Lee, Gavin Teo Chong Ze and Hong Ling.

A total of 38 international companies and organisations will take part in the market, including a number of first-time exhibitors across television, animation and distribution. They include Nippon TV, which TAICCA describes as Japan’s first commercial broadcaster, and GMA Network, one of the Philippines’ largest commercial networks.

French children’s animation companies Madgic Distribution and Zephyr Animation are also exhibiting, as are Bash, developer of South Korean character IP Washz, and Thailand’s Chada Entertainment, founded by Taiwan-based producer Shee Heng Kuek.

Several South Korean local government bodies will lead delegations to the market for the first time, among them Bucheon City, the Gwangju Information & Content Agency and the Daegu Digital Innovation Promotion Agency. The Korea Creative Content Agency returns for a third consecutive year, bringing animation IP company Sunwoo & Company and JTBC subsidiary SLL Joongang for the first time, alongside returning exhibitors KBS Media and SBS subsidiary Studio S.
