Univision appoints senior VP for Galavision

Univision Communications, the US-based Spanish-language media company, has appointed Sebastian Trujillo as senior VP and operating manager for the Galavision Network, effective June 2.

In his new position, Trujillo will oversee programming, operations and production for the network. He will report to Joanne Lynch, senior VP and general manager of Galavision.

Trujillo joined Univision in 1995 as regional sales representative for the southeast region. He has had multiple roles in the company and currently serves as VP of network sales for the southeast region.

“Sebastian has been an invaluable leader during his tenure at Univision,” said Lynch. “His vision, management skills, industry experience and knowledge of the Hispanic market will be important as we continue to deliver for our viewers, advertisers and partners.”
