Toonz, ELE Animations team up on spooky Dracula kids’ animated series

Spooky chase comedy series Drac and the Skeletons

India’s Toonz Media Group and ELE Animations have teamed up to coproduce a spooky chase comedy series for four- to seven-year-olds.

Developed by both companies, Drac and the Skeletons (78×7’) will be produced in a 2D digital format in two versions – an international version in English and an Indian version in Hindi.

The series centres on three prankster skeletons who take refuge at Count Dracula Junior (or Drac)’s castle. The skeletons try to outsmart and outrun vegan vampire Drac, but Drac has a few tricks up his sleeve to keep his home.

Silas Hickey and Paul Nicholson (The Amazing World of Gumball) act as creative consultants on the show.

Toonz is responsible for pre- and post-production of the series. Voiceover and post-production of the international version is handled by Telegael, a Toonz affiliate company based in Ireland. Toonz also has exclusive distribution rights to exploit the series in all media and platforms including L&M rights worldwide, except Ireland.

ELE Animations is undertaking responsibility for the entire animation production of the series.
