The Mediapro Studio, Infinity Hill and IP4 to coproduce psychological thriller The Blue Box

CONTENT AMERICAS: The Mediapro Studio, Infinity Hill and IP4 are to coproduce Spanish-language psychological thriller La caja azul (The Blue Box).

Scheduled for release this year, it is directed by Martín Hodara and stars Argentine actress, model and singer Luisana Lopilato alongside Gustavo Bassani in a film about the world of dating apps.

Bassani plays Pablo, a young millionaire marked by a fatal accident, who meets Lara (Lopilato) through an app based on the exchange of a mysterious object, a blue box. What begins as an intimate bond soon devolves into a disturbing game of manipulation, doubt, and secrets.

The project is made in alliance with MoJo Global Arts, Sepia Films, Film Suez, Salta Violeta, Tronito, Life Is One and Habethy Films, bringing together a team of producers including Axel Kuschevatzky, Cindy Teperman and Delfina Montecchia.
