The Alliance scores first int’l adaptation

Prime Video India is adapting a local version of Talpa Studios’ The Alliance

NEWS BRIEF: Streamer Prime Video India has greenlit a local Hindi-language adaptation of Dutch reality format The Alliance, to be produced by Banijay Asia and Talpa Studios.

The show sees four teams compete in physical and knowledge-based games, secret missions and manipulative tactics to rise in the rankings and win up to €100,000 (US$114,00). Originally created by John de Mol’s unscripted format creator outfit Talpa Studios, The Alliance debuted on Dutch broadcaster SBS6. The upcoming Indian version is the first international adaptation.
