Tell-Tale says Boo! to BBC

A new preschool toon from the outfit behind Tweenies has been picked up for broadcast by the BBC and for international distribution by Universal International Television.

Boo! is a preschool series from Tell-Tale Productions designed to introduce kids age 1-3 to new environments, words and characters. In each episode the viewers must first find the cute character Boo and then participate in whatever games and songs his location inspires. Accompanying Boo on his adventures are pals Laughing Duck, Growling Tiger and Sleeping Bear.

Created by the duo behind the BBC's live-action preschool hit Tweenies, Will Brenton and Iain Lauchlan, the new show is due to debut on the BBC in September 2003. Universal International Television will be pre-selling the show down at Mipcom Jnr this October.
