Studio Lambert to produce Fallout-themed unscripted series for Prime Video

Fallout Shelter follows the success of Prime’s Fallout series

Global streamer Prime Video has commissioned unscripted competition series Fallout Shelter, inspired by the success of its own Fallout scripted series.

The 10-part show will be produced by UK prodco Studio Lambert (The Traitors) in coproduction with Kilter Films (Fallout) and in association with Bethesda Game Studios, the team behind the game franchise.

It is the second major scripted-to-unscripted adaptation for Studio Lambert, which also produces Squid Game: The Challenge, for Netflix.

Based on the Fallout video game universe upon which the dystopian drama series starring Ella Purnell is inspired, Fallout Shelter is set inside Vault-Tec’s bomb-proof vaults. Contestants are dropped into an immersive, high-stakes world inspired by the games’ post-apocalyptic survival storytelling.

Across a series of challenges and strategic dilemmas, contestants must prove their ingenuity, teamwork and resilience as they compete for safety, power and a huge cash prize.

Fallout Shelter will premiere on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide as part of Amazon MGM Studios’ global slate of unscripted series.
