A woman’s mutilated body is found with locks of hair in her hands. But could an unsolved murder in Italy 9 years before hold the clues to her killer?
In 2002 the mutilated body of a woman is discovered by her children in the seaside town of Bournemouth. In her hands are two clumps of precisely trimmed hair. Police are mystified and then several women report having their hair secretly cut by a strange man in public.
But the hunt to find the killer takes police to Potenza in Italy, 1,000 miles away, where the unsolved disappearance of a young woman nine years before seems to hold vital clues to the murder.
