Stephenson will discuss his current slate and future plans for the BBC’s drama division, which he said this summer “aims to be at the forefront of modern television drama.”

With a confident line-up of returning series like Sherlock and a new drama season including classic remakes of DH Lawrence’s Lady Chatterley’s Lover, Laurie Lee’s novel Cider with Rosie, LP Hartley’s The Go-Between and JB Priestley’s play An Inspector Calls, there is likely to be a lot to talk about.

Stephenson joins an unprecedented speaker line-up at the two-day drama summit, which takes place at BAFTA from Thursday November 20 and culminates in the inaugural C21 International Drama Awards.
