Sprout opens Chloe’s Closet

US preschool network Sprout has acquired two new shows for its summer schedule.

The PBS, Comcast, Hit Entertainment and Sesame Workshop channel has picked up Nina’s Little Fables from Hit and Smartoonz, plus Chloe’s Closet from the UK’s Mike Young Productions and France’s Moonscoop.

Nina’s Little Fables will air each night at 19.15 and 20.30 ET starting June 28. The show tells 26 of Aesop’s Fables using black and white shadow puppetry animation.

Chloe’s Closet will make its US debut on Sprout on July 12 at 17.45 ET. The 3D CGI and Flash animation show is based around the adventures of a little girl who discovers magical new worlds while playing dress-up.
