Rabbit Films brings warring couples to Mipcom as part of formats slate

Monday Media’s You Should Hear Yourself for DR1 in Denmark

A Danish format that records the everyday lives of couples whose relationships are beset by recurring arguments is among the shows being brought to Mipcom by Finland’s Rabbit Films.

You Should Hear Yourself (6×30′), produced by Monday Media Denmark for DR1 in Denmark, sees cameras record three couples for 30 days as two conflict experts help them recognise their patterns of behaviour.

The couples then take to a theatre stage to re-enact one of their arguments, testing whether they can change the way the scene unfolds. The factual entertainment format centres on communication, self-awareness and the possibility of breaking entrenched habits.

Police Academy Junior is produced by Teddy TV for NRK

Monday Media Denmark and DR1 are also behind Design Masters (6×60′), which brings five professional designers together to create original designs for familiar household objects. Seven seasons of the show have been produced in Denmark.

Rabbit Films is also bringing Police Academy Junior (10×30′), produced by Teddy TV for NRK in Norway, which follows young recruits training with guidance from police professionals, and Fremantle Finland’s Camp North (10×90′), produced for Nelonen Finland, in which celebrities compete over four weeks in Finnish Lapland.

The scripted offerings are led by Healer (Parantaja, 6×45′), produced by Fire Monkey for Elisa Viihde. The psychological thriller follows a surgeon as she moves with her family to the fortress island of Suomenlinna after a fatal medical error destroys her career.
