MIPCOM: Prime Video has acquired UK and Ireland rights to Diana: Her Secret Confessions, a three-part documentary series from Love Monday TV built around audio recordings made by Diana, Princess of Wales.

Cineflix Rights, the worldwide distribution partner, is launching the series to international buyers at Mipcom this week under the title Diana Unheard.

The distributor said the series has also been sold to an undisclosed US network and that exclusive first-window rights in Australia have been acquired.

The 3×60′ series draws on hours of recordings that the producers describe as never before heard. They were made by Diana herself during conversations with a close companion, and cover her childhood, her marriage and her hopes for her sons, Princes William and Harry.

The series also covers how the tapes were smuggled out of Kensington Palace and includes interviews with people who knew her.

Kerene Barefield, creative director at Love Monday TV, executive produces alongside Naveed Chowdhary-Flatt. Emily Hirst is producer, Sophie Todd is series editor and Tara Benson is line producer.
