Drag format among RTL Netherlands shows joining Be Entertainment line-up

Drag guessing game format Make Up Your Mind

Belgian distributor Be Entertainment has added RTL Netherlands shows Make Up Your Mind and The Surgery, With… to its format slate ahead of Mipcom.

The Dutch broadcaster was acquired by Be Entertainment’s parent company DPG Group last year.

Family entertainment show Make Up Your Mind is described as a large-scale guessing game in which celebrity panellists try to figure out which famous personalities are hidden behind the make-up of spectacular drag transformations.

The format comes with stunning reveals and sensational performances attracting both the linear as well as online viewer, Be Entertainment said.

RTL’s medical format The Surgery, With… sees a host and a celebrity guest watch a live operation, the same procedure the guest once underwent, while speaking directly to the surgeon in real time.

The Surgery, With… features live medical procedures

The show features 3D animations and expert insights that demystify complex surgeries through personal storytelling.

The formats join other titles such as Destination X, The Political Assembly and The Way Out in the Be Entertainment catalogue.

Elsewhere, Welcome Back sees six young adults from diverse backgrounds leave their familiar Western lives behind and embark on an emotional journey to reconnect with their roots.

Salsamania, meanwhile, is a dance competition that takes place on the street, with eight celebrities trading their daily routines and pairing up with local dance icons.

My Home Your Home features fellow renters permanently swapping both their rental homes and contracts, while Ready to Love Again sees five singles who have lost a great love discover whether they are ready to find love once more.
