Pocoyo season four debuted on YouTube Kids

Spanish children’s TV channel Clan has acquired the fourth season of Pocoyo following the local preschool series’ launch on YouTube.

The 26-episode show will begin broadcasting on the kids’ network from Spanish broadcaster RTVE later this year following the deal with Zinkia Entertainment.

It follows the fourth season’s launch on the YouTube Kids app, which marked the first time new episodes of the show were made available to viewers first via YouTube rather than a broadcaster.

Pocoyo follows a curious, fun-loving boy and his friends as they search for challenges, new friends and stories to learn.

Madrid-based Zinkia Entertainment entered administration in 2014 but had its trading ban on the Alternative Stock Market lifted in 2015.
