OutTV takes another bite of Dragula

Canadian LGBT television network OutTV has greenlit a second season of competition-based reality show The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula.

The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula premiered online in 2016

The second season (10×60′) will launch this autumn on OutTV and OutTVGo, the network’s streaming service. The first season of the show debuted online in 2016 before moving to TV.

The series was created by underground drag duo the Boulet Brothers and aims to discover and create a new drag queen who will become the “world’s next drag supermonster.” It is produced by Ash & Bone Cinema.

Ten drag queens from around the world have been chosen to compete in a series of physical and mental challenges to test their creativity, bravery and stamina.

“This is not your mother’s drag queen competition,” said the Boulet Brothers. “This show takes drag back to its queer, underground punk origins and brings a different point of view to drag.”

“The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula is an exciting, provocative and boundary-pushing show,” added Brad Danks, CEO of OutTV.
