Netflix confirms two new seasons of Korean medical comedy Trauma Code

Studio N and Mays Entertainment’s The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call

Global streamer Netflix has renewed South Korean medical comedy series The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call for second and third seasons.

Coproduced by Webtoon Entertainment-owned Studio N and Mays Entertainment, the show is based on the webtoon series Trauma Center: Golden Hour.

Ju Ji-hoon returns as Baek Kang-hyuk (Husbands in Action), a trauma surgeon working at a struggling university hospital. The supporting cast includes Choo Young-woo (The Tale of Lady OK) and Yoon Kyung-ho (Husbands in Action).

Season one debuted in January 2025, topping Netflix series lists in 18 countries. Lee Do-yun again serves as director and writer for the new seasons.
