Japanese docu-reality format Meet Me There set for Singaporean version at CNA

Nippon TV’s Meet Me There is heading to Singapore

Mediacorp-owned Singaporean public broadcaster CNA is to debut a local-language adaptation of Japanese unscripted format Meet Me There.

The three-episode docu-reality show begins with a handwritten note containing just three words, “Meet me there.” Without any clues provided, the recipient of the message must find the mystery location where the sender is waiting.

Originally created by Japanese entertainment giant Nippon TV in 2016, it will premiere in Singapore on March 21.

Raku Iizuka, format sales, Nippon TV, said: “From our very first conversations with CNA, we knew they were the perfect partner to adapt Meet Me There.

“They have been an incredible, long-standing partner since Singapore’s version of Old Enough! was developed by Mediacorp. We are truly delighted to expand our successful relationship with this wonderful new format.”
