Iza Piotrowska upped to head global business development at AVoD service wedotv

AVoD network wedotv has promoted Iza Piotrowska to senior VP of global business development.

Piotrowska joined wedotv in 2022 as business development director and in her new role will oversee the global distribution strategy for the company’s portfolio of free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels.

Based in London, Piotrowska has more than 18 years of experience across the pay TV and streaming sectors, with a focus on affiliate sales, business development and international content distribution.

She previously worked at companies including AMC Networks International, GINX Esports TV and Mega Max Media and will attend C21’s Content Americas conference in Miami next week on behalf of wedotv.

Wedotv’s co-CEO Philipp Rotermund said: “Iza has been instrumental in expanding wedotv’s global footprint. She has been responsible for a number of our most important distribution agreements worldwide, including several recent deals in Asia and Latin America.

“Her deep understanding of the FAST ecosystem and her strong relationships with platform partners make her essential to our team and exceptionally well-suited to lead our global business development efforts.”
