International Format Awards finalists announced
The finalists in the 2022 International Format Awards have been unveiled, following online voting by a panel of the world’s leading format commissioners, buyers and producers.

More than 200 formats were entered from across the globe in a year that saw the quality and range of the formats undiminished by the pandemic, according to the judges.
The International Format Awards are a coproduction between C21Media, FRAPA, the Entertainment Masterclass and MipFormats.
The winners will be announced on Tuesday 5th April at a digital ceremony at 12.30pm CET at MipTV in the Hi 5 Studio, Palais des Festivals, Cannes and streamed simultaneously on C21Media.net.
This year’s International Format Awards Gold Award will mark the achievements of Wonwoo Park, the creator of the worldwide hit, The Masked Singer.
Over 25 years in the Korean television industry, Wonwoo Park has created 17 top rating unscripted shows and worked on 600 hours of primetime television. His company, diTurn, has also led the way for creative talent to retain their fair share of format rights.
