Hearst Networks, WBD and Polsat dig up Hitler’s Treasure Hunters docuseries from Keshet Int’l

Hitler’s Treasure Hunters follows Nazi efforts to track down artifacts

LONDON TV SCREENINGS: Hearst Networks EMEA, Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) and Poland’s Polsat have licensed history series Hitler’s Treasure Hunters from Keshet International, while TVNZ in New Zealand has picked up crime docuseries Catch Me If You Can.

Hitler’s Treasure Hunters (6×60’), produced by Perpetual Entertainment, and Catch Me If You Can (10×60’), from Woodcut Media, are the first two docuseries greenlit by Keshet International’s commissioning initiative Greenlight: Factual & Formats.

Heart Networks EMEA has licensed Hitler’s Treasure Hunters in a pan-regional deal for Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Sweden and sub-Saharan Africa.

WBD has picked up the docuseries for Spain and Andorra, while Polsat has acquired a free-TV second window since Hearst Networks holds the first window for Poland.

Hitler’s Treasure Hunters tells the stories of the many treasures and religious relics sought out by Nazis organisation the SS, including the Holy Grail and Thor’s hammer, in an effort to win Germany the war and prove Aryan supremacy.

TVNZ, meanwhile, has picked up Catch Me If You Can in a deal that also includes Double Act’s SAS: Catching the Criminals (10×60’), the first five seasons of Crackit Productions’ Trucking Hell (82×60’) and all three seasons of Hello Halo Productions’ River Hunters (18×60’).

Catch Me If You Can delves into the world of murderers who evade capture while taunting their victims’ families and law enforcers until they are finally brought to justice.
