Fox Corporation has appointed former TikTok exec Bryan Thoensen and Moonbug Entertainment alum Kirsten McAuliffe to newly created senior roles as it expands its push into the creator economy.

Thoensen joins as senior VP, content partnerships at Fox Creator Studios, while McAuliffe has been named senior VP of strategic partnerships and growth at Fox Corp.

Reporting to Fox Creator Studios head Billy Parks, Thoensen will lead development of creator-led content franchises, working with creators, development teams and advertisers on formats and commercial partnerships.

He joins from TikTok, where he was head of content partnerships. He previously held content roles at Spotify, Hulu and Fullscreen.

McAuliffe will oversee Fox Creator Studios’ go-to-market strategy, revenue development and advertiser partnerships, working with Fox Advertising Sales to develop advertising, licensing and franchise opportunities around creator IP. She reports to Fox Corp’s executive VP, entertainment advertising sales Katrina Cukaj.

McAuliffe previously held senior roles at Moonbug Entertainment and Warner Bros Discovery, working across brands including Adult Swim, Bleacher Report and CNN.

The appointments come around 10 months after Fox Entertainment launched Creator Studios with the goal of developing new formats and IP in collaboration with creators.
